(tear tear, sob sob)

well, it's sad but true - our last day.

iain and stu, you have been wonderful. ever the gentlemen, keeping your cool(s), and working so very hard on our feisty creations - and yes, stu, i mean creation in the most creative possible sense. this has been the most relaxed/intense session i've ever had, and the fact no one mentioned 'hit' once is amazing. it's so wonderful to be focused on what the songs want, and to make sure the sense of the music comes through, rather than getting anxious over demographics (as we discussed) - it made a huge difference. and most importantly, at the end of the day - the songs sound really great. it's been a real pleasure, ya'll ya'll - what else can i say, but...

aaakee, foooootball, mes deux génies, merci x 10000000000...

brent, your assistance has been key, i very much enjoyed going to noodlewok and waiting in line for sweet and sour chicken (with extra pork) and i wish you all the best things in the future. thank you for making yummy tea and smoking with me in the back with santa, who woulda totally freaked me out if you weren't there.

i will miss our shenanigans, and look forward to the next time i'm locked in a room with you 3 boys.

happy st patrick's day to all,

-dg
