stickin' it to das man
okay, not to harp on this but...
stu just came up with his concept of post's modern which consists of the following:
a) ground up corn chips, reconstituted and made into flakes
b) bits of tomato (because as we all know, tomato is technically a fruit)
c) curds of cottage cheese
so the idea is that the cheese curds look like marshmallows, the tomato looks like fruit, and the corn chip flakes are, well, flaky. then you're supposed to pour soymilk on the whole mess, and ta-da! you've got yourself a bowl of nacho cereal. how very post-modern.
says stu: "see, you eat the cereal and you're like, 'wait a minute, that actually sounds like a description of nachos'. you think you're eating cereal, but hold on - it seems to have lost its identity! is it really cereal after all?"
says i: "and then you fall into an existential crisis ["to be (cereal) or not to be (cereal)"] and sue post for whatever you potentially could one day have been worth if your cereal hadn't led you to question what you were to begin with. or what anything is, for that matter. and having won that suit (as long as you're living in states, that is) you live happily ever after having returned to your old standby, count chocula and kahlua (which is the ultimate hair-of-the-dog hangover cure, by the way)."

p.s. stu adds: "wait a minute - you want something a little more spicy? aren't peppers fruit too?"
my friends, it is now up to you to decide...
your cereal future.
