The Next Day
boy oh boy...
back home from stu's house near mississauga, where iain and i stayed this weekend while we were mixing.the house was very cute - built in the fifties with AMAZING tilework in the kitchen and front hallway. i didn't get home till around 5:30 last night, didn't sleep until about 7 cause i was still pretty wired. i'm tired...planning to take this day very easy - just rent a movie and lie around, get an early sleep and be back "on" tomorrow.
anyway, all is well that ends well - i'm superhappy with the way everything turned out, and can't wait to listen with fresh ears in a few days.
we'll be back in the studio from march 11-13...until then we're going to start thinking about the next step: photo-shoot. the pictures will be taken by the uber-talented lily huang, and we're all meeting this week to discuss concepts etc. pretty cool :)
not much else to report - i'm still pre-coffee though, so all that could change...
